Electricity is a versatile form of energy that the students encounter every day. By increasing their knowledge of the role electricity plays in their lives, they will appreciate the fact that they have control over the amount of electricity they use in their homes and at school. This leads to the students' understanding of the need to conserve electrical energy whenever possible.
