Children Literacy Program

 

The MITS Literacy series includes 60 levelled books mixing fiction and non-fiction from Fountas and Pinnell reading levels A to K.

MITS (acronym for Moving In Time and Space) is a very tiny, imaginary character who is visible only as a dot on a magnifying glass. MITS was designed to be a catalyst for learning—to create interest, stimulate curiosity and provide connections to the daily lives of children from ages 5 to 8 years.  When you bring MITS into your classroom, you increase your class’ desire to learn because the children develop a very strong bond with this character who has an insatiable appetite for learning.
